Southeasterly winds of 21/25 Knots with rough seas to 2.5 meters expected. Low SE swells expected over the group. Sea travelers and mariners are urged to consider safety actions, as such winds can produce dangerous wave conditions which are hazardous to small boats and small vessels. Minor eruption at Ambae volcano
The volcanic activity on Ambae is at the level of minor eruption. The Ambae Volcanic Alert Level is raised to Level 3. Ambae volcano activity remains confined in the Lake Voui. The volcanic hazards zone remains limited at the Danger Zone B which is about 3 km radius from the active vent in lake Voui
