MARINE WARNING FOR ALL COASTAL WATERS OF VANUATU GROUP !! South-southeast winds of 21/25 knots with rough seas to 2.5 meters over all coastal waters of Vanuatu.

Low to moderate east and southeast swells expected. People and sea mariners or sea travelers are advised to take extra precautions against possible marine related accidents, as such winds can produce dangerous wave conditions.

Minor eruption at Ambae volcano

The volcanic activity on Ambae is at the level of minor eruption. The Ambae Volcanic Alert Level is raised to Level 3. Ambae volcano activity remains confined in the Lake Voui. The volcanic hazards zone remains limited at the Danger Zone B which is about 3 km radius from the active vent in lake Voui
