MARINE WARNING OVER NORTHERN AND CENTRAL WATERS OF VANUATU.

Southeast and south-southeast winds of 21/30 knots with rough to very rough seas of 2.5 to 3.0 meters over northern waters . While south-southeast winds of 21/25 knots with rough seas to 2.5 meters will spread over central waters. Low northeast swells expected. Sea travelers and mariners are urged to consider safety actions as such winds can produce dangerous wave conditions which are hazardous to small boats and small vessels. People are advice to take extra precautions and always listen to all media outlets for latest or related warnings.

MARINE WARNING OVER ALL OPEN COASTAL WATERS OF VANUATU.

South-southeast winds of 21/30 knots with rough to very seas from 2.5 to 3.0 meters over northern waters, while South-southeast winds of 21/25 knots with rough seas to 2.5 meters elsewhere. Low Northeast swells expected. Minor eruption at Ambae volcano

The volcanic activity on Ambae is at the level of minor eruption. The Ambae Volcanic Alert Level is raised to Level 3. Ambae volcano activity remains confined in the Lake Voui. The volcanic hazards zone remains limited at the Danger Zone B which is about 3 km radius from the active vent in lake Voui
