Minor eruption at Ambrym volcano
The volcanic activity on Ambry is at the level of minor eruption, Volcanic Alert Level 3. The volcanic hazard zones are extended to the Danger Zone B which is about 2km around Benbow Crater and 2.5 km radius from Marum Crater and 1.5km radius from 2018 fissure eruptions.

Marine Strong Wind Warning For Northern Waters tomorrow, Friday 9th of October
ESE winds of 21/25 knots with rough seas to 2.5 meters is expected to spread over northern waters. Low northeast swells expected. Sea travelers and mariners are urged to consider safety action as such wind can produce dangerous wave conditions which are hazardous to small boats and small vessels. People are advice to take extra precautions and always listen to all media outlets for latest or related warnings.

The volcanic activity on Ambae is at the level of minor eruption. The Ambae Volcanic Alert Level is raised to Level 3. Ambae volcano activity remains confined in the Lake Voui. The volcanic hazards zone remains limited at the Danger Zone B which is about 3 km radius from the active vent in lake Voui
