Description for Mount Garet
Mount Garet, an active basaltic-to-andesitic stratovolcano within the Vanuatu arc, is located inside a 6 × 9 km caldera surrounded by Lake Letas. Its cone, positioned in the southwest of the caldera, includes three summit pit craters. The development of Mount Garet and nearby cinder cones has contributed to the formation of a distinctive crescent-shaped lake.
